Place your chosen image face down onto the unbaked clay and gently smooth it into place with your fingers, taking care to eliminate any air bubbles. Allow the setup to rest for 10 minutes. Next, run the piece under a gentle stream of water in your sink. With a light touch, coax off the remaining fibers, ensuring that you don’t disturb your image. Let it dry completely before proceeding. Once dry, you can cut and shape your image using cutters or a blade, and then bake as you normally would.
