Allow it to rest for 10 minutes. Next, run the clay under a gentle stream of water in your sink. Use a light touch to carefully coax off any remaining fibers, ensuring you don’t disturb your image. Allow your image to dry completely before proceeding. Once dry, you can cut and shape it using cutters or a blade, and then bake as usual.

For added durability, consider sealing your image with resin or a clay matte/gloss finish to enhance its longevity.
